  • 500 g White cabbage
  • 60 g Millet
  • 130 ml + for boiling cabbage Water
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 20 g + for sprinkling Flour
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil


  • Coarsely chop the cabbage. Place in a saucepan and fill with water. After boiling, cook for about 10 minutes. Drain the liquid and cool down a little.
  • Rinse the millet. Mix with 130 ml of water. Cook until the groats absorb all the liquid.
  • Chop the onion. Chop it together with the cabbage using a blender or meat grinder. Squeeze out the excess moisture.
  • Stir the millet, flour, salt and pepper into the cabbage.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Form cutlets and roll them in flour. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
