Cake in the microwave in 5 minutes

For the dough
- 4 tbsp Wheat flour
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 1.5 tbsp Cocoa
- 3 tbsp Milk
- 1 piece Chicken egg
- 0.5 tsp Baking powder
- 5 g Vanilla sugar
- 3 tbsp Butter and vegetable oil
Additionally
- 200 g Chocolate
- 150 g Walnuts
Instructions
- How to make a microwave cake in 5 minutes quickly and deliciously? Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
- Wash the egg under a stream of warm water and baking soda to wash away dirt and bacteria, then crack it into a bowl. Pour milk into it, it can be of absolutely any fat content. The main thing is that the milk is fresh and natural.
- Pour sugar into the bowl with the egg and milk, preferably finely ground. It can be regular white sugar, cane sugar, or brown sugar.
- Pour the vegetable oil into the bowl. The oil should be refined so that the smell of the seeds does not interrupt the aroma of the other ingredients. You can also use olive oil.
- Whisk everything until smooth. This can be done manually with a whisk or with a mixer.
- Sift the wheat flour through a fine sieve into the bowl with the mixture. This will get rid of any debris, if any, and oxygenate the flour. It is best to take high-grade flour, which will make the pastries more airy. You may need less or more flour, depending on the desired consistency of the dough.
- Add cocoa powder to a bowl. The cocoa should be of the highest quality without any additives such as sugar or milk powder. And it’s best to sift the cocoa powder as well as the flour to break up any lumps and mix it evenly into the dough.
- Stir in the baking powder and vanilla sugar. Instead of vanilla sugar, you can add vanilla or vanillin. But if you change the vanilla sugar, the weight will be different. Add vanilla at the tip of a knife, as a larger amount can make the finished dish bitter.
- Mix everything well until smooth. The dough should be like thick sour cream.
- Take a microwave-safe dish and grease it with vegetable oil. Cover the bottom with baking paper. If you like tall cakes like we do, take a mold with a diameter of 12-14 centimeters. If the cakes are made of two layers, an 18-centimeter-diameter baking dish will do.
- Put the dough into the mold and smooth it out. Make a small depression in the middle of the dough. This will allow the finished cake to avoid rising up and stay flat.
- Place the mold in the microwave on the turntable and close the door. Cook at 900 W for 3-4 minutes. First bake for 3 minutes, check for doneness and turn on for 1 minute if necessary. After the switch-off signal, leave it inside for another 5 minutes to let the sponge cake cook.
- Remove the mold from the microwave and take out the sponge cake. Remove the paper from the bottom of the sponge cake and place it on a wire rack, leaving it to cool completely. You can use a grill rack from the microwave oven. And do not leave the sponge cake in the mold, it will be moistened by steam during cooling.
- Cut the cooled sponge cake into 3 layers.
- Spread the bottom layer with chocolate paste. You can use boiled condensed milk or whipped cream instead.
- Spread the layers and assemble the cake.
- Spread the chocolate paste over the entire cake. Leave some for decoration.
- Dry the walnuts a little in a dry frying pan, chop them with a knife or in a blender and sprinkle them on the sides and surface of the cake, pressing them down.
- Decorate the top with the reserved chocolate paste and serve. Or put it in the fridge for a few hours to soak.
- Serve the cake with hot, flavored tea, coffee or cocoa. Enjoy your meal!
