If desired, you can add smoked fish to this salad instead of squid or together with them. For example, hot-smoked pink salmon or catfish. And for a lean version, just do not use eggs. Below we prepare a vegan lentil salad recipe.

Ingredients
- 200 g Brown lentils
- 200 g Green beans
- 350 g Squid
- 4 pcs. Eggs
- 3 tbsp. Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. Abkhazian adzhika
- Parsley to taste
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Soak the lentils for 2 h, then fill with fresh cold water, bring to a boil and cook until soft, 30 min.
- Discard the calamari in a colander, cut into manageable chunks and mix with the mayonnaise and ajika.
- Boil the beans in boiling salted water until soft, 5-7 min.
- Boil hard-boiled eggs, peel and cut into quarters. Chop the parsley.
- Combine the lentils, beans and parsley in a large bowl and mix with the squid sauce, salt and pepper if necessary. Garnish the salad with the eggs and serve.
