Strawberry fizz recipe
To prepare a fragrant strawberry fizz without any synthetic additives, you will need:
- 2 kilograms of fresh strawberries;
- 600 grams of granulated sugar;
- 2.5 liters of drinking water;
- Raisins to taste.
Preparation Sequence
Prepare the strawberries by washing and removing all the stems. If the berries are dirty, you can rinse them through a colander or sieve to avoid mixing them with dirt. Then, place the strawberries in a ceramic dish, mash them with a wooden spoon, and pour warm boiled water over them. Cover with gauze and leave in a sunny place for a day.
Next, strain the resulting liquid, add granulated sugar, and place it back in the sun. After a couple of days, check under the cover. If fermentation has started, pour the drink into bottles, add 3 raisins to each, seal tightly with corks, and store horizontally in the refrigerator. Open the bottle carefully as the drink will be fizzy and bubbly.
